Japan Post's commercial facility, KITTE, will hold a special event called KITTE Marunouchi 10th Summer Program - Summer Astronomical Observation to celebrate its 10-year anniversary. Based on a Milky Way Galaxy theme, the first floor atrium features a 25-meter-long Milky Way objet d'art entitled Milky Way Extending Into the Sky, A Journey of 100,000 light years. In conjunction, the photo exhibition Unite Japan through the Starry Skies! Photo Exhibit by Astrophotographer KAGAYA will also be held.
DAISY BALLOON created the Milky Way objet d'art. From within the work, the Summer Triangle of Vega, Altair and Deneb project three points from which light pours down into the internal structure.
