Forward | We wanted to express a powerful vector aimed toward the future, which was something we felt when we visited Thailand. We focused on the individual life force, which becomes the force that moves an enormous societal system. From a microscopic perspective, this abundant energy that flows all throughout society may seem like independent bodies moving aimlessly, but we believe they are life forms existing within the vast backdrop of Thai culture. We, daisy balloon, believe that people exist as people/individuals while at the same time representing society/the greater whole. Our work is a representation of this idea where humans take on life and go through initiations at each life stage: birth, growth, chance encounters, cooperation, and creation.
