From Saturday, Dec. 9, balloon shells that symbolize 'lakes' will be on display at the main entrance/bar lounge of Hotel Anteroom Kyoto. From Tuesday, Dec. 12, there will be a display of balloon shells representing 'the sun' at Tokyo Aoyama Glocal Cafe. Both will be displayed until the 25th (Monday).

"Mirror Bell Dress" DAISY BALLOON

GSIX XMAS: Mirror Bell Dress DAISY BALLOON will be on display at the entrance of GINZA SIX from 11/29 (Wednesday) to 12/25 (Monday).
The Christmas bell shape is made from mirrored ornaments that shine bright and reflect the people and scenery of Ginza.

Dai Nagoya Building "Dreaming for Christmas"

We represent the imaginary dream world of a young girl, based on the theme of "Dreaming for Christmas." The brightness that bursts from the core (symbolizing light), and the transparent spiral that wraps it (symbolizing consciousness) are the layers that form the girl's dream.

DAISY BALLOON created the costumes for Wednesday Campanella's performance at Reborn-Art Festival 2017 "a program featuring 51 days of music at various locations." The Reborn-Art Festival Ojika Village location will become the stage on which we present a real time look at balloons taking shape alongside natural objects over time.

SPUTNIKO! Exhibition in SEIBU SHIBUYA
“bionic by sputniko!”

The exhibition “bionic by sputniko!” which showcases the future of biotechnological fashion, is coming to Seibu Shibuya. This exhibition is based on the notion of “what if the future brings clothing created through biological technology?” and is an experimental installation (showing growth during the exhibition) that considers fashion as an extension of the human body that can be generated biologically.
Daisy Balloon will present futuristic fashion adapted to four life scenarios: self-generation (sleep), the ability to extend our bodies to swim efficiently (exercise), to challenge our tastes and TPO (dating), and to give color to a brilliant moment of our lives (wedding).

The skull, which has been the brand logo of MARK&LONA, celebrating their 10th anniversary, has been represented in 3D. Using geometric placement and the shadows of each piece, the skull gives off a different expression depending on the viewing angle.

"D・E・A・U" by

Reborn Art Festival is a comprehensive festival featuring art, music and food in which the central areas of Ishinomaki City, Ojika Peninsula and its neighboring areas come together in a whirlwind. Over a period of 51 days from July 22-September 10, the works of various artists will be displayed.
Daisy Balloon will be presenting "D・E・A・U" a work made in collaboration with music producer Takeshi Kobayashi and visual design studio WOW, who are based in Tokyo, Sendai and London.

“Roger Vivier × DAISY BALLOON”

Accessory Maison Roger Vivier of Paris held a one-week pop-up event, Jardin Vivier, at Matsuya Ginza from Wednesday, April 19. Daisy Balloon had two works on display. Coinciding with the event, the visual concept for Roger Vivier x Daisy Balloon (2 black and white works, 2 color works) was published in Numero TOKYO.

DAIKANYAMA T-SITE
“Green Christmas”

Daikanyama Tsutaya Books (T-SITE) is celebrating their fifth anniversary with their largest Christmas light-up event ever. The world created by plant-hunter, Seijun Nishihata, is infused with balloon art by Daisy Balloon and the works of sculptor Kohei Nawa’s SANDWICH, to create a dreamlike scenery.
The snow-cell illustrates the relationship between plants and life. The white cells cling to the stems and foliage and also resemble snow fallen upon a forest. Walk through the forest and see the snow-cells come together, writhing about and growing like a huge living creature.

Our aim is to have man-made balloons and natural plants co-exist on the same plane of existence through time and space.
Balloons wither over time while plants grow, and we captured the crossing of their paths on video through a month of filming.

ROPPONGI ART NIGHT
2016

Sculptor Kohei Nawa was the main program artist for Roppongi Art Night 2016, and his installations were displayed at three locations—Roppongi Hills Arena, the National Art Center, Tokyo and Tokyo Midtown. Daisy Balloon and plant hunter, Seijin Nishihata, who travels the world in search of rare plants species, collaborated to create a forest in representation of the dawn of culture.

A new cultural movement is brought to life in this concept devised by Hideki Noda in which a diverse group of artists come together to create new forms of expression through cultural exchange. This is the leading project of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics & Paralympics culture program. It all started with Tokyo Caravan in RIO held during the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, which then took form on the other side of the world, namely Miyagi and Fukushima, as Tokyo Caravan in TOKYO, which then fused with the performances from the local workshops to become Tokyo Caravan Prologue 2015 and further evolved into Tokyo Caravan 2016, which was unveiled at Roppongi Art Night.

ISETAN SHINJUKU
ITS FOR ISETAN SUPPORTED BY DIESEL

Daisy Balloon was in charge of the window displays for Isetan Shinjuku Honten from Sept. 27 (Tuesday) through Oct. 4 (Tuesday).
Titled ITS FOR ISETAN SUPPORTED BY DIESEL, the works spread across a span of 12 windows. Featuring the designs of Yuko Koike, winner of the OTB AWARD, the window pieces were created to mesh with her works and included massive balloon flowers and patterns made of strictly of balloon bears. Our aim was to make a visual connection and create harmony with the materials.
