A new cultural movement is brought to life in this concept devised by Hideki Noda in which a diverse group of artists come together to create new forms of expression through cultural exchange. This is the leading project of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics & Paralympics culture program. It all started with Tokyo Caravan in RIO held during the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, which then took form on the other side of the world, namely Miyagi and Fukushima, as Tokyo Caravan in TOKYO, which then fused with the performances from the local workshops to become Tokyo Caravan Prologue 2015 and further evolved into Tokyo Caravan 2016, which was unveiled at Roppongi Art Night.
